Smithsonian Pop up With Live Jazz
The ArtJamz Smithsonian Pop up is jamming again at the Smithsonian American Art Museum Take 5! sessions every third Thursday from March 20th until August 21st. Paint, drink and listen to live jazz in the stunning Kogod Courtyard.
For the 4th straight year, ArtJamz is doing a Smithsonian pop up at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Take 5! concert series, featuring live musicians, live painting and drinks and light fare from the Courtyard Café. The ArtJamz Take 5! sessions run the third Thursday of every month ending August 21st. In each of the sessions, ArtJamz participants will get a chance to paint from 5PM to 8PM while taking in the sounds of live jazz in the museum’s Kogod Courtyard. Take 5! is free and open to the public; however, you can take part in our Smithsonian pop up for either $23 (8 x 10 canvas), $25 (12 x 16 canvas) or $28 (16 x 20 canvas). Tickets include a canvas you get to keep, an easel, smock, acrylic paints, brushes, art materials, the support of ArtJamz creative enablers and a chance to make art in one of America’s most iconic museums. Participants also receive 20% off drinks and food at the Courtyard Café during the session. ArtJamz are perfect for adults and kids aged 12 and up. Have a group of 5 or more? No problem!
