Creative New Year’s Kick-Off
It’s a new year – create more! We are with sessions in DC and Crystal City where King Street Blues will be providing comfort food and live DJs will keep the inspiration flowing.
Kick start the New Year with a dose of creativity at ArtJamz: Blue Crystal Sessions in Crystal City and the ArtJamz: Creative Resolution Session in Shaw. This is the second time ArtJamz has partnered with the Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) and Vornado/Charles E. Smith to hosts a series of ArtJamz sessions. You can see some pictures from our previous sessions HERE. “We’re excited to be artjamming back in Crystal City. We’ve added a lot of twists and surprises to make these nights even better than our sessions last year,” says ArtJamz Chief Creative Enabler Michael M. Clements. The sessions will feature live DJs as well as catering by King Street Blues all in a warm and cozy glass atrium.
“We could not be more excited to welcome ArtJamz back to Crystal City,” said Angela Fox, Crystal City BID President/CEO. ”We know Picasso had a blue period, so we hope people will express their inner cubist here with us!”
$65 includes all-you-can-drink Heineken Light, white and red wine and vitaminwater zero, catering from King Street Blues, great music, a canvas that you get to paint and keep, unlimited acrylic paints, brushes, art materials, tips from our ArtJamz Creative Enablers and a chance to meet and bond with your fellow intrepid ArtJammers.
The Lamont Bishop Gallery in Shaw will be the venue for the Creative Resolution Session on Jan. 11th, which features catering from Roti Mediterranean Grill and bags of yummy Pretzel Crisps.
